Jalepeno Pepper

Jalepeno peppers are small but mighty when adding some heat and a bit of a punch to a favorite dish.    The lines (or scarring) found on the skin of a jalepeno corresponds to how hot the chili pepper is.  The more scarring, the hotter the chili will be.  Jalapenos often take the spot light when stuffed or added to salsas and guacamole.
