Strawberry
Strawberry season is definitely a favourite. There is still no comparison to a fresh, field picked local strawberry. Grown from a perennial plant that is covered from the outside elements during the winter, strawberries awaken under the warm spring sun, producing a ripe and juicy fruit, bursting with flavour. Perfect on it's own, strawberries make a great snack, but are always a bonus when added to deserts.
